Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured a major contract valued at up to ₹10,000 crore for a large-scale housing redevelopment project in Mumbai. The project has been awarded to the company's Residential, Commercial Buildings and Factories (RCBF) business vertical by a prominent client.
The order further strengthens L&T's position in India's urban redevelopment sector, where large residential renewal projects continue to gain momentum amid increasing demand for modern housing infrastructure.
The announcement follows another significant milestone for the company. Earlier, L&T's Metals & Minerals business secured multiple "mega" orders, a category the company uses for contracts valued between ₹10,000 crore and ₹15,000 crore, highlighting strong order inflows across its infrastructure and engineering businesses.
