Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is set to dedicate infrastructure projects worth ₹995 crore in Gorakhpur on 23 July. The programme includes the inauguration of completed projects alongside the launch of new development works across transport, urban infrastructure, education and public services.
A key highlight is the opening of Gorakhpur's first six-lane flyover, a 2.6 km elevated corridor developed at a cost of ₹429.49 crore, expected to improve urban mobility and regional connectivity. The Chief Minister will also inaugurate the upgraded four-lane Padleganj Chowk–Firaq Gorakhpuri Chowk road, further strengthening the city's road network.
