The ₹998-crore project, developed by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), is designed to improve traffic movement across key corridors in East Nagpur. The project was inaugurated by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at Priya Bar Square in Reshimbagh.
Spanning 8.9 kilometres, the project includes a 6.37-kilometre elevated flyover, supported by 13.82 kilometres of service and slip roads. The scale makes it one of the city's most significant elevated road infrastructure projects.
The corridor has been constructed using Ultra High Performance Fibre Reinforced Concrete (UHPFRC) technology, a high-strength concrete technology used where enhanced structural performance and durability are required.
The elevated section features a 12-metre-wide carriageway, configured as a two-lane, two-way corridor.
