The connectivity will be enabled through a network of three foot overbridges planned around the Vadodara station by the National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL).
The key element is a 534-metre-long foot overbridge that will provide a direct pedestrian connection between the bullet train station, Vadodara Railway Station and the GSRTC Central Bus Depot.
Given the length of the connection, travelators will be installed along the FOB to facilitate passenger movement and make transfers between the three transport modes more convenient.
The planned arrangement is designed to bring high-speed rail, conventional railway services and bus transport into a connected interchange, allowing passengers to move between networks without having to exit the broader station and transport complex.
